U.S. soldiers from Task Force 1-64 of the 3rd Infantry Division talk in the
entrance of the Al Rasheed Hotel, near a tile mural which bore the impression of
former President George Bush, before American soldiers tore it
up, in Baghdad, Iraq (news - web sites), Friday, April 25, 2003. U.S. soldiers
had defaced the notorious tile mosaic of the former president that had been
placed at the doorway so visitors were obliged to trample him as they entered.

I enjoy the ships returning to port- having been in the Navy, I can identify
with what those sailors are feeling. One of the most precious moments in my life
was when I got out of the Navy and met my firstborn son for the first time-he
was 6 weeks old. The beauty of my wife holding him when I walked off the
airplane is a picture that will forever be etched into mind and will always
bring instant joy to my heart.

As a measure of their contempt for George H.W. Bush, the Hussein regime
placed his likeness on the floor of the entryway to the hotel in a tile mural.
It looks like we removed it to keep people from trampling on his
face.

I got a silly question. Does any one know why so many Iraqi automobiles are
white with red fenders?
