"IRAQI MISSILES FOUND
In and near Baghdad, more Iraqi trailors loaded
with more Iraqi Scud missiles"
NONE of those pictures are SCUDS.
Diogenesis you really need to get yourself a missile recognition booklet. If
they were SCUDS then they would be headline news on the CENTCOM brief.
For example:
"more Iraqi trailors loaded with more Iraqi Scud
missiles"
These are FROG-7s (Free Rocket Over Ground). This is a short
range battlefield artillery rocket. Perfectly legal for the Iraqi's to have and
not "missed by the Klowns".

Regarding the drums of "pesticide", it should be noted that the Iraqis are

similar).

Thank God for the POWs who have been returned,
and prayers for the MIAs.

These missiles were found over a week ago down south. I dont know why they keep getting re-posted as a recent find.

A Hosanna for Shoshana
Seeing you again gives us such joy
Knowing your wounds will soon be
repaired
When we saw you before
You were looking so scared
Your plight touched us deeply
Night and day so many prayed
And in our
Father's tender mercy
He answered on this blessed Palm Sunday
Now we offer up our thanks
For you and your little ones
They're going
to get their Mommy back
Soldier, your battle is finally done

I would say more likely it translates as "product of urgence", or in other
words, hazardous material.

I strongly disagree.
You aren't a "hero" just because you took a
wrong turn and got captured by an enemy who otherwise has been as inept as any
the US military has ever faced.
Now, if you want to show me conclusive
proof that they did something SPECIFICALLY heroic, fine.
But reserve the
term for those who deserve it.

Those soldiers are deployed overseas to protect your right to post on FR from
your sticky keyboard, son. They are ALL heroes in my book - God Bless them.

Okay, okay, they're all "heroes" because they went in the first place, I'll
buy that. But I continue to submit that the term is used far too loosely.
Oh, and FWIW: Remember that they were fighting for and under the flag of
that hideous tyranny that you and your fellow-travelers believe needs to be
overthrown so that "true freedom" can flourish in the South, or whatever.
Need to be sparing of your praise, I think.

Check out this thread.
Hits home pretty hard, doesn't it? Those are heroes and their brothers-in-arms who went to battle with them are heroes, too. Wrong turns are not heoric deeds, but fighting for the homeland, and facing the enemy shoulder to shoulder is heroic in my book.
In fact, some liberals ran to Canada to avoid war.....Definitely not
heroic.

Silkworm [called a "cruise missile" by Rather
That's because it is a cruise missile. It flies aerodynamically, not
ballistically. Notice the wings.

A Silkworm is most definitely a cruise missile, specifically anti-ship, like
the Exocet (which is air-launched rather than ground-launched like Silkworm).
