GOTTA SEE THIS - War for Enduring Freedom 4/13/03 -Baghdad, Basra-?Iraqis Buried; Kirkuk Warhead

BREAKING: Kirkuk - Chemical Warhead found
BREAKING: Baghdad - freed Iraqis get back THEIR files
BREAKING: Baghdad - Possible Iraqis Buried Alive
BREAKING: Basra - Possible Iraqis Buried Alive
BREAKING: Basra - 'White Lion'
BREAKING: Basra - CHEMICAL ALLEY
BREAKING: Basra - food sacks sequestered from the UN Oil for Food program Saddam returned to the people
BREAKING: Basra - Saddam's palace
BREAKING: Basra - Saddam's private yacht
BREAKING: Basra - Freedom in Basra

========= Chemical Warhead found in Kirkuk =============

Chemical warhead at an Iraqi air base, marked with a green band,
the symbol for chemical weaponry. Trace amounts of a nerve agent was found
in two spots on the ~meter long warhead. The amounts could be consistent with
leakage from a chemically armed weapon. A 13-foot missile was found next
to it.

========= Baghdad =========

========= Possible Iraqis Buried Alive in Baghdad ============

In Baghdad, an underground tunnel is searched for prisoners still held
in sections under water by the egregious Iraqis. Iraqis beg for
quiet to listen for voices. This is ongoing now.

In Baghdad, freed Iraqis open a sealed vault at the Military Intelligence Ministry.
Unlike Americans whose FBI files to this day remain held by the Democrats and their agents,
the free Iraqis retrieved thousands of their own personal files.

In Baghdad, in prison, a drawing of a prisoner's family remains on a cell wall.
How many Iraqis had to die (and Coalition troops) because of CNN witholding info,
and Kofi and his Klowns being so inept and criminal?

In Baghdad, Marine and Army heroes found a huge cache of weapons.

========= Basra =========

========= Possible Iraqis Buried Alive in Basra ============

In Basra, freed Iraqi civilians try to listen for voices which may be
coming from secret tunnels under a Basra prison. The freed Shi'ite Muslims
are digging at this moment oping to find prisoners trapped in the underground jail.

In Basra, a freed Iraqi displays a tattoo, cut into his back by prison guards
when he was taken from the west of Basra.

========= Basra at the infamous 'White Lion' =========

In Basra at the infamous 'White Lion', the building that housed secret police and torture,
an Iraqi civilian -- FREED BY THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA --
looks through personal files. Saddam Hussein's Baath Party leaders
tortured, murdered and raped political prisoners there.

In Basra, at the infamous 'White Lion', freed Iraqis in shock and awe
enter the very, now empty, cells where they were interrogated and tortured
with beatings, mutilations, electric shocks and chemical baths.

In Basra, freed Iraqis discuss their past torture, rape,
and murder of their families, by, with, a Fedayeen
terrorist, probably from outside Iraq.

Some Fedayeen got away. They have American clothes from RI.

In Basra, some Fedayeen are taken by the Coalition.

BINGO: Truly a "CHEMICAL ALLEY"

Near Basra, British soldiers use chemical agent testing equipment
in a stairwell leading to a flooded room at a building
used by the late Ali Hassan al-Majeed, 'Chemical Ali' .

Near Basra, Iraq, the Close Support Regiment discovered
and secured a weapons cache .

COALTION HUMANITARIAN MISSION DELIVERED

In Basra, British engineers provided 10 huge water tankers carrying 20,000 liters of water each, to a community starved by Saddam.

In Basra, Iraq, Irish Guards patrol.

In Basra, Iraq, heroes of the Commando Squadron and Royal Engineers
engineer the environment to be Saddam-free.

In Basra, Iraq, the Red Cross. Are they hiding weapons again?
And why did they never ever visit American POWs held by Iraq and their friends?

In Basra, Iraq, after decades of both food and medicine and water being systematically kept from them
by the tyrant Saddam, the Iraqis raided the local pharmacy.

In Basra, freed Iraqis take back assets from Saddam's "City Hall".

In Basra, these are the food sacks sequestered from the UN Oil for Food program
by tyrant dictator Saddam (who also conveniently received billions
from the Terrorist-in-Chief Kofi Annan). This sequestered food was retrieved by the
starving Iraqis [and is incorrectly called "looting" and "chaos"
by the ever-pejorative ultraleftist media].

In Basra, Iraq, at Saddam's palace on the Shatt al-Arab river.

In Basra, Iraq, on Saddam's private yacht, the 'Al Mansur'.

In Basra, on Saddam's private yacht, the restaurant.

In Basra, Iraq, on Saddam's private yacht, the al Mansur, Saddam's private operating theatre.

========= Freedom in Basra =========

DO NOT HOLD YOUR BREATH WAITING FOR THESE PICTURES ON YOUR LEFTIST TV OR NEWSPAPER

In Basra, Iraq, freed Iraqi children and adults wipe out the stigmata of
the tyrant Saddam Hussein, then play freely - coutesy of the citizens of the USA.

========= Freedom in Basra =========

DO NOT HOLD YOUR BREATH WAITING FOR THESE PICTURES ON YOUR LEFTIST TV OR NEWSPAPER

In Basra, Iraq, freed Iraqi children play and cheer Coalition troops
who freed them DESPITE opposition in the US, EU and Axis of Weasels.

Taking the bridge

U.S. Marines from the 3rd Battalion urge infantrymen to rush across the damaged Baghdad Highway Bridge on April 7, while under Iraqi fire on the capital's southeastern outskirts.

Comfort after the conflict

An Iraqi soldier comforts his crying comrade April 10 after they were captured in the northern Iraqi village of Perdeh, which came under Kurdish control. U.S. special operations forces and Kurdish fighters advanced into the nearby city of Kirkuk.

Left behind

Reallocation of wealth

Two Iraqi women carry furniture away from an Iraqi government office building on fire in downtown Bagdhad on Friday. Widespread looting continued in the Iraqi capital after the disappearance of Iraqi government officials and police.

Homecoming hug

Rocky Benard, right, cries as he embraces family member U.S. Navy Petty Officer Dale Tischler of State College, Pa., and Tischler's daughter Christina on Friday at Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base in Norfolk, Va. Tischler and his 319 crew mates aboard the USS Portland came home after a January deployment in support of the invasion of Iraq. After delivering 7,000 Marines to the Iraqi theater as part of a seven-ship amphibious task force, the Portland returned to her home port early to repair its propulsion system.

Waiting for supplies

An Iraqi boy and his sister join the line for fuel and water as it is distributed by members of Britain's 3 Regiment Army Air Corps Civilian Military Cooperation Team in a village in southern Iraq on April 11.

In Memory of the Prison Artist

"Locked within the tyrant's cell
Powerless to escape this hell

Stripped of all humanity
With no way out, no way to flee

The things I once thought somehow mattered
Now utterly worthless, illusion shattered

All I think of now are my children and wife
More important to me than my very life

My imprisonment has forced me to measure
To recognize my only treasure"

Ms. Lampsos gave a really good interview with Clair Shipman on an ABC news
special...maybe six months ago?

Lampsos said that prior to Gulf War I, Saddam was just shrugging off the idea
that the USA military would cause him any trouble.
"The USA...who are they?" he'd say with a shrug of his shoulders.

Where ever Saddam is now, he's probably lucky if he can speak...or shrug his shoulders.

"And why did they never ever visit American POWs held by Iraq and their friends?"

Because the Iraqi regime failed to allow access to them or in some cases failed to acknowledge that they had them in their custody. Since 1991 the ICRC had asked the Iraqi's to either release the missing Kuwaiti POWs or allow them to inspect prisons for signs of them. The Iraqis refused to do so.

I am impressed with the American and British forces and moved beyond belief from the photos I have just seen thanks to you.

God Bless the children and adults in Iraq as they learn to adjust to a life without the worst fear imaginable laying across their shoulders day in and day out.

Everyday, as I grow in admiration of our troops, their military leaders, our President and his wise and uncorruptible administration, I find myself grateful and so very very thankful to God that I live in this very special nation.

And everyday, tho I did not think this was possible, I grow in greater disrespect and loathing for the liberals in our nation.

It has gotten personal.

Because if find their rhetoric beyond offensive, I find it traitorous.

And when I consider that that bulbous, cheap, lying sorry ex president klinton has been on American byways, saying whether or not we went to war should have been determined by Hans Blix, and saying the war would only last two days (in order to make anything longer seem like a failure), and other sick statements designed to cause a breech of trust in our current President, I simply seeth with longing to verbally assault this truly stupid sociopath with a bit of good old fashioned conservative mom ranting. He disgusts me and so does his legion of pathetic whining liberal girly-men and feminazis.

And as for the UN-why in the HELL didn't they MONITOR the oil for food program to ensure the Iraqis were getting the FOOD??????????? What the hell kind of a setup supplies FOOD to a tyrant who hates his own people enough to torture them? Who was making money from this program. My guess is that in there somewhere, within the UN, certain countries were making big money off this program.

I think it is past time to reconsider our role in the UN, and to state to the UN exactly what that role will be in the future.

Why all the Secret Service? They're at an airforce base for crying out loud. If they didn't want the press to see her, why didn't they just use a bunch of military?

Amid heavy security, former POW Jessica Lynch, center, is carried from a C-17 transport plane at Andrews Air Force Base, Md., Saturday, April 12, 2003, in transit to Walter Reed Army Medical Center to receive medical treatment. Lynch, 19, from Palestine, W.V., was captured March 23 after her 507th Maintenance Company convoy was ambushed in the southern Iraqi city of Nasiriyah.

I prefer to look at it in a very positive light.

When she was rescued she was insistent that they promise not to leave her.

I get the sense that the entirety of the Armed Forces, including the CiC, feel a deep obligation to protect her.

That's my take.

Granted she is the only POW we have recovered alive. But if I were her, I'd take one look at the SS and think there's been a threat on my life. And what about the other soldiers who are PTSD'd enough to not want to be alone?

Besides, she hasn't been on any civilian ground yet, just military bases, military vehicles and military hospitals. I'm trying to think positive, too, it merely seemed odd to me that there would be any reason for the SS at her side.

I thought fantasy art was a teenage boy thing

Actually fantasy art has a huge following of all ages. Like any other genre, some is better than others. The styles represented range from realism to the surreal, from oil to watercolor.
Some of the most recognized, unique and beautiful works, from the Medieval Cluny tapestry unicorns to the Hildebrandt brothers or H.R. Giger, are fantasy art pieces.

The anti-warriors and ant-Americans must believe that Iraqis are not actually fully human. They must believe that Iraqis are a specie of sub-humans who are perfectly happy having their babies raped, the fathers and mothers tortured, imprisoned and killed to please brutal, barbaric Saddam.

There was a time when people believed that blacks were happy in slavery because they were 'not fully human'.

It does not surprise me that the liberal/lefties still believe there are peoples who are perfectly happy in slavery
. The liberal/lefties hope to bring that sort of happiness to Americans.

I am so very, very, very, grateful that our President Bush knows the fully human longing of AlL people to be free of starvation and brutallity by their governments.

God bless and keep safe our incredible U.S. military troops, and our President.

Well, after reading the Drudge report Blix is stating that whe have planted evidnence. Before the war O'reilly said that this would happen. This is just another reason to why I have thought for several years that the UN is a waste of money and space. I think that the UN building could really help alot of people that need space to to live in. That is just my opinion.

But if you listen to the press, no WMD's have been found. Not one. They are burying their heads in the sand once again and will be "shocked" when the stores are finally found.

Yep, they keep stressing on how there have been 20 discoveries and emphasis how nothing found, this out of at least 2000 hits we need to look at. And the UN and blixie Boy (I thought he was retiring btw),are itching to try and bully their way back to inspections.

Every military member has a 100,000 dollar life insurance policy, and most pay the few extra dollars for the 200,000 coverage. Shame on me for knowing much more than that, but based on my experience in the military I'm sure the spouse will continue getting regular paychecks for three months or longer and all arrangements are made for them to move from base housing (if need be). If they live off base they have the option to move to where ever they want and the military will move them for free. I'm betting that the spouse will probably be able to have base privledges for a lengthy period of time. The military is compassionate and won't push and force the family to depart quickly. I've never talked with anyone about what happens if someone dies in combat, but I know that if someone dies from a car accident etc. or a Divorce etc. The family is the higher priority because it is the members duty to care for his or her family. When I lived on base my neighbor and her 5 children lived on base and the active duty member lived off base (separation agreement).

Don't be so sure that just because they are not in uniform that they are not military. That said, Andrews is where the President comes and goes from also, so some Secret Service pressence wouldn't be all that unusual. If they really wanted to keep the press from seeing her, they could ban them from Andrews AFB, or from the flight line at least. It's a big flight line though, with some "out of the way" spots where the plane could have been taxied to and the patients trasnferred from the Medivac C-17 to ambulences.
