Near Jabal Maqlub, a strategic mountain and once-Iraqi military base 12 klicks east of Mosul.
Somewhere around Baghdad and the North, a US SF hero calls in an emerging

Generally unsung champions are freedom, SF are 110% all-American hero
fighters.

It's not as pathetic as Rep. Xavier Becerra who said Iraq would get freedom
"sooner or later." Tell the toddlers in Iraqi prisons that Democrats wanted them
liberated later rather than sooner.
Bah.

Dealer calls aces high:
U.S. Brigadier General Vincent Brooks holds up a pack of playing cards with
pictures on each of Iraqis most wanted by the U.S., April 11, 2003. The deck
will be issued to troops to help them remember the faces of personalities they
can 'pursue, capture or kill.'

A portrait of Imam Hussein, the inspiration behind Shi'ite Islam, hangs for
the first time in decades in the Kazimain district of Baghdad April 11, 2004.
During the more than 20-year rule of Saddam Hussein, hanging a picture other
than the Iraqi leader in public was forbidden.

Nancy Pelosi believes in dictatorship. She wants you and me to live under one too -- one with her at the top of the heap.
"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience."
