This morning, 9/16/03, in Tikrit, Iraq, American heroes on a raid of Baathists.
Twelve were taken by the 720 Military Police of the Fourth Division of the U.S. army and Iraqi police.


In Tikrit, the 1st battalion plays baseball in a palace of Terrorist Saddam.

In the notorious Abu Ghraib, Iraq, 21 miles northwest of Baghdad,
American heroes inspect prison cells refurnished by coalition forces.


In Baghdad, Iraq, over downtown Baghdad by US military helicopter
Beneath is al-Fardous square where the statue of Saddam Hussein was toppled
by the freed Iraqis.

In Kabul.


In Kabul, downtown.


In Shamali, north of Kabul, Afghan Kuchi nomads.

Afghanistan's GDP grew 28% last year. And it shows. The only open businesses we saw (thanks to your efforts) after the fall of Kabul were barbershops. The bustle of commerce is returning to the Silk Road, thanks to the resolve of this Administration and the absence of the UN.
