day
compared to that which becomes the anchors' focus in the evening.

Great Pictures - I probably won't be seeing them in the media.
Prepare for violence around the elections, because the enemies of freedom,
including our press, won't like it.

Flowers under Bush
Something is going right in Afghanistan: I am a coordinator for a pottery
factory in India, and while delivering pottery to one of our customers the
other day, a group of businessmen from Afghanistan were being given a tour
of this major nursery. The leader of the group went out of his way to come
and shake my hand and smiled and said, "Thank you, American." I was touched
and glad that they are now planning on planting and growing in that land.
Not everyone hates the American presence there. We must be doing something
right in Afghanistan — they are planting! Keep leading, George Bush; things
are going to turn.

I thought of a Snider only after I posted.

In reality, there's no way of
knowing without the complete side view. All we can tell at the moment is it's a
muzzle loader or a later conversion.[Conversion meaning most of the parts are an
earlier muzzle loading design]

This is great...and in the Seattle Times too.
I think we
should start sending some of the pics of good news to our local newspapers -- at
least once weekly.
Do these photos need to have credit given?
To: Diogenesis
Just beautiful.
Dio-what is wrong, breathtakingly WRONG with our press
corp here in America? It is so cheap, so mired in spinning and lying about our
efforts in Afganistan and Iraq, that it is WILLING to DENY the America people,
the terrific American people, the full story about events in these nations?
Our press corp is so agenda driven and willing to deny all of us glimpses of
the extraordinary good and humanitarian efforts our precious military is doing?
And denying ALL of us balanced coverage of these efforts even as these media
elites understand that we are PAYING for this out of our own pockets and if that
is not enough, our precious troops are in danger EVERY single second they cruise
the streets of these budding democracys?
We have a sick, sick media. Something has to be done. These talking heads and
their bosses are deeply embedded in lying to all of us by omission. How is this
different than Goebbel's activities during the Third Reich?
I am FED UP WITH IT!!!!
I want those yearning to know THE WONDERFUL ADVANCES our soldiers have made
on the humanitarian front in Afganistan and Iraq to be made complete. I want our
nation to KNOW about these terrific American soldiers...who listen to a boy
recite an English alphabet, who stand by while women register to vote for the
first time in their lives, etc. etc!!!!
HOW DARE THEY KEEP US IN THE DARK!!!!!!!!!! HOW DARE THEY FAIL TO SHARE WITH
AMERICANS THE DEEP AND MARVELOUS SUCCESSES OF THIS CRITICAL
ENDEAVOR?????????????
I dispise them all.

One of the great things Robert Heinlein created was the "Fair

"Is that house white?"
"I don't know, Boss." "It's white on
this side."
I try to be as accurate as I can but I find it to be very
difficult.

An U.S. F-15C fighter, front, and two Indian Sukhoi-30 fighter planes fly in
close formation during a joint air exercise over Gwalior, India, in this undated
Feb. 2004 photo. Indian and American fighter aircraft soared over the central
Indian city in their biggest ever joint air exercise as part of widening
military cooperation between the two nations, media and officials said. In the

Laughed out loud at that thought; thank you! Poor Tom!!!
What other country which had been barbarically attacked go after only
the bad guys and set a nation free? These pics are so uplifting. And, as usual,
not enough credit given to the troops for what they have accomplished. Just
think about it; these people are voting! (And maybe soon no more burkas (sp?) if
women choose not to wear.) Don't you wish you could be granted time with some of
these guys to hear just a bit of the real scoop? We'll never know all of the
tales of heroism but Hollywood couldn't top any of them.
