GOTTA SEE THIS - War for Enduring Freedom 2/19/04 - Nishapur, Tehran, Isfahan, Fallujah

BREAKING: Nishapur, Iran, secondary explosions at train explosion

========= Nishapur =========

In Nishapur, Iran, ~435 miles east of Tehran,
a train [~51 cars] blew up and ~300 people were killed.
Most say these were explosives on their way to Afghanistan.
Many brave fire and rescue workers
died after the Iranians first claimed it was simply "fertilizer" or an earthquake, but
then there were secondary explosions much larger than the first explosion,
and these kept burning for hours killing the Iranian heroes.

========= Tehran =========

In Tehran, Iran, at Parliament, Iranian journalists
are allowed to file their stories overheard by the hardline clerics.

In Tehran, an Iranian clergyman surfs the internet.

========= Bushehr =========

At Bushehr, Irans' nuclear facility.

At Bushehr, Irans' nuclear facility,
the model they want us to have.

========= Isfahan =========

In Isfahan, Iran.

========= Jerusalem, Israel =========

In Jerusalem, Israel, at the Western Wall.

In Jerusalem, Israel, an Israeli bus mangled in a suicide bombing
two weeks ago is readied for shipment to the Hague
to be used in a protest against a World Court hearing (without jurisdiction)
on the purported illegitimacy of Israel's necessary barrier.

In Israel, at the concrete wall
used to separate murderous Palestinians from the hard working
democratic Israelis.

"In Fallujah, Iraqi policemen stand near a truck carrying the bodies of Islamic terrorists (Syrians, Palestinians and Iranians) killed as they attacked the police station."

Those corpses must be getting stinky by now - Fox news showed them two days ago as Hiraldo hovered over them and the Iraqi guards who killed them all gathered around.

Hiraldo actully had tears in his eyes talking about the Iraqi guards hodling out against superior firepower of the terrorists.

Ping on a good post.

It blew my mind when Cat Stevens converted to Islam and moved to Saudi Arabia. As far as I know, he's never set foot back in the States for over twenty years.

I miss him. Hope he sees the light (but of course if he did, the Wahabbis would cut off his head before he got a chance to escape).

Reminds me of the recent story about the Gitmo afghani prisoner who ewas xtremely favorably impressed with his treatment and Americans, and the adherence to islamic diet and sanitation and hygiene etc. He'd been turned in as a Taliban and his only gripe was that he didn't get to write his family for a while after being taken into American custody.

We are the Good Guys par excellence, treating the captured enemy with kindness or at least decency. It would be nice to have this reciprocated every now and then. We house, doctor, and feed our POWs, but the norm is for our enemies to starve, torture, and humiliate theirs. To me, this serves as a kind of proof that our enemies are truly evil and that fighting them is the right thing to do.

I read once of a high-ranking German officer in WWII praising the way the Americans treated the German POW's and saying that such treatment would be taken into account whenever the German conquest of the world was complete, that the US would receive a special measure of mercy. Our decency and restraint and humanity make an impact.

She cites the exemplary conditions at Gitmo as better than regular life in parts of Russia. Koran, halalfood, exercise, medical care, sun, library, religious discussions with the inmates, it's like a darn religious retreat!

Thanks -- I found this one right off the bat.

http://www.abc.net.au/news/newsitems/s920538.htm

A Russian mother says conditions in Russian jails are so awful that she would prefer her son remain in the "humane" conditions of the US military prison at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba.

The Guantanamo Bay facility was set up to house Taliban and Al Qaeda suspects after the war in Afghanistan.

"I am terribly scared of a Russian prison or Russian court for my son," Amina Khasanova was quoted as saying by Gazeta newspaper.

"At Guantanamo they treat him humanely, the conditions are fine."

Her son, Andrei Bakhitov, is one of eight Russian detainees and the newspaper quoted a letter he wrote to his mother.

"I think that there is not even a health resort in Russia on the level of this place," the letter said.

[I did a little snipping of the article]

Amazing!

Like I said, we are Good Guys par excellence. It's no wonder the Left hates us.

when Arafart stayed in--what was it--Albania?

Romania.

BYW, when the PLO was in exile in Tunisia, one of the factions of the PLO began a meeting by showing one of the tapes...there was nervous silence, Arafat saying nothing.

Then the meeting continued, with the point having been made.

It was about that time that there was serious infighting within the PLO, assassinations, a gun battle at at meeting.

With luck, that kind of internecine warfare in the PLO will begin again.

The jihadists keep making it clear that no one, certainly not Muslims, will ever be safe from them!

THANKS.

I hadn't heard the Tunisian thing.

Seems to me like that tape needs played to a number of liberal newsrooms as well, perhaps as the President's cabinet.

Actually, the tapes of him swearing to obliterate Israel regardless would be better.

Sigh.

It's just a matter of time before Iran is free... what once was an "if?" is now a "when?" :) Soon they will enjoy the responsibility of freedom! :) Thanks Dio! Good Post as usual! :)

In Israel, at the concrete wall used to separate murderous Palestinians from
the hard working democratic Israelis.

Amazing!
The "oppressed" Palestinians have resources for the ownership and maintainance of
their own "cavalry".

If you listened to the mainstream American/Eurotrash press, you'd swear that they
didn't have a pot to p-ss in.

Boy, That model they released sure makes this bombing run easier.

Dubya should start HIS OWN "Voice Of America" broadcast to Iran on shortwave/
satellite TV/Internet and let the MILLIONS of under-40 Iranians who say they identify
with the USA, not their Mullahs...
that if we bomb the Iranian nuclear facilities, it's an act of self-defense for
the future of the young Iranians and the civilized world...

...and to short-circuit Osama and Saddam's fellow-travelers who now enslave Iran.

It blew my mind when Cat Stevens converted to Islam and moved to Saudi Arabia. As far as I know, he's never set foot back in the States for over twenty years. I miss him.

I didn't know that. I bet he's singing a different tune than the one's we're used to. Poor deluded star.
